This is what I’ve been saying. Doesn’t matter if AI/LLMs are capable of doing the job. If CEOs think it can, they will do layoffs.
And they get credit for donating even tho it was actually their customers.

Schools are meant to teach kids how to think critically, along with basic facts.
Giving them laptops doesn’t teach that part unless you go out of your way for it.

I reported a vulnerability at work when I found out I could make transactions on our system look like someone else made them.
No reply for 6 months, then, when I was in a new department they asked if it was still a problem. I told them I do not think it was fixed but I don’t work there anymore so they closed out the ticket.

Most games are games with a chat feature.
ROBLOX IS A CHATROOM WITH A GAMES FEATURE.
It’s a chatroom where 60% of the user base is under the age of 16 and 40% is under 12.
Grooming happens on Roblox. Predators move that conversation to places Discord which is where the crimes happen.
I am an adult who helped a kid that was the victim of online predators.
When talking to your kids about online safety, come up with a plan just like you might for a fire. Make sure they know what to do when something makes them uncomfortable and make sure you identify a 3rd party adult that you trust and your kid feels safe talking to, maybe a close family friend or an aunt/uncle.
That last part is how I got involved. I don’t have my own kids, but I knew a kid that felt more comfortable talking to me about that stuff than to his parents.

Brave owns an ad company. They are absolutely tracking users.
Luckily for me, I was already running 64GB so now I’m down to 32GB. I can try to wait it out. -_- I don’t really need that much anyway, but I’m glad I had it when it was cheap
