Vatican doesn’t have public health care?
They went bankrupt. Was a nice place, but just not profitable where it was.

They’ve probably been good for (the prison) business for those years.
Oh, right! It should have been phobia for testicles of course.

Are you or someone near you also definitely not a crook?
Heh, back before the web, I recall there were two people hogging the modems in the library: IRC users and MUD users. I guess we’re here now.
Always has been.
Well, since 1978 or so.

Reading. Somehow most nights it doesn’t take me that long before I either notice that I have no idea what I’ve been reading or the book falls over and I know that lights out at that point almost guarantees sleep. Otherwise my mind will just keep racing endlessly.

I’m not happy I read the wasp factory. I’m not happy I saw Antichrist (2009, von Trier). And would not recommend them despite them having some impressive qualities.
But Seveneves. The only time halfway through a book I just wanted to throw it away. I went the rest of the book thinking “kill that thing already”. It is what it is and it’s otherwise kind of an interesting story, but I’ve never hated a part of the plot or a character that much.

That one’s on my list. I don’t expect to like it, but I do think I need to see it.

Al Gore made me quit South Park TSoT.

Halloumi is also worth a look.
Ah, and you can fit a lot of cargo in a lake. That’s clever.
Ole time in my life, I lived in a house with cats. I got into the habit of showing whatever I was holding to them when they came to check if I had food. They’d sniff the thing, decide it’s not edible and go back to more interesting cat business.
Then I lived in a house with dogs and had to unlearn that because if you show something to a dog, they’ll probably just take it to chew whether it smells edible or not.
Very few people want the old models. So used ones are often found for 20 zorkminds again.

Classic
I really should start listening again.
