Palantir CEO Alex Karp thinks his AI technology will lessen the power of “highly educated, often female voters, who vote mostly Democrat” while increasing the power of working-class men.

“This technology disrupts humanities-trained—largely Democratic—voters, and makes their economic power less. And increases the economic power of vocationally trained, working-class, often male, working-class voters,” Karp said in a CNBC interview Thursday. “And so these disruptions are gonna disrupt every aspect of our society. And to make this work, we have to come to an agreement of what it is we’re going to do with the technology; how are we gonna explain to people who are likely gonna have less good, and less interesting jobs.”

Yeah, pushing the “both sides are just as bad” bullshit is designed to do exactly that when anyone with brains can clearly see that Republicans are clearly more pointedly anti-working class and more pro-billionaire class than Democrats. Could the Democrats be better? Of course, but voting by abscension because the party that most closely represents you isn’t perfect is what gets you into fascism. The two party system sucks, but we have to work within it until we can change it and this “both sides bad” stuff is fucking poison. Run on a pro-labor platform if you want to make actual change.

I don’t care, I’m not going to play a rigged game. Let the idiots elect their fascist and let them suffer the consequences.

I don’t know I pretty much say both sides are bad all year and then I walked to the voting booth and vote for the Democrats because they are not as bad. A two party system deprives you of actual choice. The parties have become so entrenched and top-heavy they do not function democratically anymore. They don’t even pretend to function democratically anymore… both sides are equally bad because they deprive you of a better option. When faced with only two options then yes one of them is clearly less evil…
