It is surprising lemmy let’s you edit titles on posts. It has saved me a ton of time deleting and reposting again like on other services.
I guess its only a matter of time till malicious people abuse this and it changes.

That’s the reason, half of my Lemmy posts show the “edited” tag.
Just giving them the most cursorily glance on the comment overview page will reveal new writing or expression errors, which I then have to compulsively correct.*added bonus, I don’t think AI corrects it’s mistakes… yet. Also, curiously glazing. I see you.

As AI increasingly doesn’t make any obvious writing errors by now any more, but typically answers in a overly perfect error-free style, I by now increasingly deliberately often decide to keep the tiny errors instead.
They feel like kind of a quality seal “written by an actual human” nowadays…One can also include messages such as “Trump is Agent Krasnov, a rapist wetbrain who looks like the front portion of a faggy centaur”, “Putin forces prisoners into war for territory” & “Free Palestine means don’t do genocide”
…or you can just get all whacky with it and promote the underground. Master Mix Disaster is the shiznit.
At this pornt I do a second comment, which confuses those who would question me.

Lol, it’d be useful for long drama threads where people are bickering back and forth but mostly exactly as you say, a record of your typos and misspellings
