Human Games - Leminal Space
leminal.space
A community dedicated to video games created without genAI. ## Rules All instance rules apply. ::: spoiler 0. Don’t be an asshole. Don’t be a bigot, don’t harass anyone, and don’t be hateful. ::: ::: spoiler 1. Only post games that you’re confident about. Only games that you are certain do not use genAI. Providing a link to proof is encouraged but not required. The mere absence of a genAI tag on a game’s Steam page is not sufficient, because the presence of such a tag is not practically enforceable. ::: ::: spoiler 2. No AI slop. Posting AI-generated images, text, videos, etc. in this community is not permitted. ::: ::: spoiler 3. Don’t engage in excessive self-promotion. It’s perfectly fine to share a game you’ve created without using genAI. However, please don’t treat this community as a platform for self-promotion. Outside of major community updates, please limit posts about a particular game to one post per month ::: ::: spoiler 4. Mark spoilers and NSFW content. Nobody likes spoilers. And nobody likes stumbling across unmarked NSFW content whilst at work or in a public place. ::: ::: spoiler 5. Keep it English (or tag the language.) All posts and comments in languages other than English must be tagged with the relevant language. ::: ----- The community icon is adapted from Heart Vector SVG [https://www.svgrepo.com/svg/498819/heart] (GPL)

Is it just for new games coming out post AI-pocalypse or is it also for games created before gen-AI existed?

I think it’s mostly the former. When you launch an old game, you can be sure it was created by a human. However, games released in the last couple of years are always a gamble.

That said, no one is stopping you from posting old games. It’s just not the community’s main focus.

Not much of a video gamer myself (I play chess and sometimes boardgames, that’s about it) but I 100% support that ;)
