The Amish figured this out 200 years ago. NASA confirmed the physics
in 1959. In 1991, it was quietly removed from every residential
construction manual in America. Not banned. Not disproven. Just erased.

This video shows you the exact material, the exact method, and the
exact reason nobody told you about it — until now

        Huh, so it is.

Something strange I noticed when viewing it from there is our slrpnk comments aren’t federating to kbin.earth, despite hosting the community it was posted to. The Banjo’s and Riwo’s is, though.

Hey I love Al Gore and his white painted roofing idea, but this idea that you can just say something is effective and works and that everyone should remodel their home to be incompatible with AC with no stats or anything because you trust the Amish’s lack of temperature measuring technology is daft.

Unless that thumbnail with the holes for airflow is a clickbait thing, in which case I will downvote for clickbait.

sorry, but this an ai slop clickbait video. not very solar punk in my opinion.

i would have much prefereded a post simply saying something like “painting your roof white with high light reflective color is probably a good idea in warm climates, because it will help with cooling”. cut out the ai and the clickbait.

Well thanks for the explanation. I didn’t know this information but I think it’s worth a try.
