    the cap plague all came from a single chinese manufacturer? I thought it was across many manufacturers world wide

    Something about experimenting with electrolytes in the capacitors or something, i think? i dont recall well enough to state it as fact.

      You nailed it. I can’t remember how many manufacturers it was. I thought one because they were all caps with an X on top
