In an era of climate anxiety, geopolitical tensions and rapidly advancing artificial intelligence, apocalyptic thinking is no longer confined to the fringes of society

Duh. This is the hegemonic narrative promoted by zios and evangelicals. The zios get support for their theft, genocide, etc. The evangelicals get zio support and a scared, brainwashed congregation.

Both christian and jewish zionism are fundamentally based on the apocalypse. And that’s the dominant imperial religion. It’s sus that this article doesn’t mention that at all.

The US is using AI in weapons. Hegseth is a moron and might put them in the nuclear arsenal.

This isn’t conspiracy theories. The group of atomic scientists have moved the clock closer to midnight than it has ever been in history.

It is neither invalid nor bad to be concerned about the possible end of all life on earth.

I hate to see people thinking an end is coming and then trying to make it worse. Whatever this all is we are here together.

It’s worth noting that what the study specifically focuses on is not so much the prevalence of apocalyptic beliefs but their forms, in particular the way that each form affects how its adherents respond different kinds of risks. The hope of this people running this study was that it might be useful in helping policymakers communicate with people.

(At least, this is what I have gleamed from the abstract and from reading a couple of articles about it, which is the best that I can do given that I am not willing to pay for access to it.)

To me the sad thing is that humankind’s Great Filter, aka “apocalypse” is actually manufactured by unconscious-mind’s ego-insecurity.

Enforcing “apocalypse” “PROVES” that unconscious-ego’s important, rightttt?

& once you’ve got a whole race of people in species-puberty, aka The Great Filter, the Venn-diagram intersection of toddler-unconscious-mind, with world-changing industry & technology, & no more free space to go when others are crowding one…

then the manufactured-“apocalypse” IS an actual thing, just not caused by any supernatural-force, is all.

    It’s caused by humankind’s ignorance-addiction, primarily.

So, it isn’t delusion, it’s fact: but its cause has nothing to do with any scripture.

Hegseth’s enforcing mass-murder in Iran to hasten “the return of Jesus” …

… were The 2nd Coming to appear, wouldn’t that entity HOLOCAUST Hegseth for what he was doing?

( based on the biblical “I’m not here to bring peace, but war” line of benJoseph )

The unconscious-mind manufactured “apocalypse” is inescapable, but the absolute non-intelligence of Hegseth’s murdering-for-Jesus tactic … there’s no justification for that pseudoreasoning.

Doesn’t help that the US military are saying the recent war in Iran is to start a holy war and bring about the apocalypse. A death cult with nukes that want to take as many of us with them as they can. How is this being swept aside like every other “end of the world” theory? They’re actively orchestrating it.

Unfortunately that’s just a symptom of a much deeper problem. USA is almost completely brainwashed by zionism (christian, jewish, atheist, etc).

How is this being swept aside like every other “end of the world” theory? They’re actively orchestrating it.

Yes, that’s the point. They all want the apocalypse for various fashy/religious reasons.

Worse: they are now using AI to determine targets, amd they want to make fully autonomous weapons

I feel like it’s not fair to get proof that we are killing the planet with CO² and instead of stopping it at a reasonable time, they instead hid that from everyone so that they could make it happen faster so that Jesus would come back. Our species is commiting suicide at the behest of a death cult with extraordinary PR. How are we all just allowing this …?

When are military personel not talking officially? …have you seen Sen. Kelly prosecution by trump-hegseth-dptOfWar, they claim retired military personel do not have free speech, aka they are always bound to speak officially. So, I ask again, when are military personel not talking officially?

I think it is much more likely that Trump enjoys the power trip that comes from bullying the weak than that he is specifically out to start a holy war, and at the end of the day the goal of the U.S. military is to do whatever he says, no matter what they personally think about it.

According to the person I was responding to, this is exactly what they are doing:

Doesn’t help that the US military are saying the recent war in Iran is to start a holy war and bring about the apocalypse.
