“The Trump Administration” is a terrorist state. You’re blaming the wrong people if you think the citizens who march in the streets everyday against this villainy are the perpetrators of this violence. Be better, please.

Which got elected my maga and nonvoters, so i blame those too.

Good. Then make the distinction that the administration is guilty, not the people. We are literally dying in the streets fighting them and it’s wrong of you to blame us.

These are effects of the quality of the US education system in full display i guess…

My original post is just “The US is a terrorist state makes more sense.”, which you somehow interpreted as me blaming the US people… who did vote for this even though that post was removed by mod for some reason.
                Bye.

I didn’t vote for it. I’m fighting against it. Why are you blaming me? You’re allowing them to divide us against each other. That’s what they want and you’re just handing it to them. Stand with us in solidarity please, we need better people right now.

even though that post was removed by mod for some reason.

Just want to point out that the reason that one comment of yours got removed (I presume - I didn’t do it, I’m not a mod) was because you were explicitly blaming non-voters for the genocide.

There were many many people who didn’t vote in the last election because they saw that both “meaningful” options were fascists, the blue flavored ones who were currently in power at the time and who were already committing the genocide and promising to do it even harder if reelected OR the red (orange) flavored fascist who also promised continued genocide. The people who refused to vote for any genocidal fascists regardless of flavor are not responsible for the fact that the genocide continued unsurprisingly under the red flavor.

So when fans of the blue fascists come in here upset their blue flavor didn’t win and start blaming the rest of us (when the blame actually belongs squarely on the shoulders of their blue candidates for their abject failure to do the bare minimum and simply oppose literal genocide) it just turns into a blue MAGA shit-flinging episode that we’ve already dealt with and debunked countless times. So the mods nip it in the bud and remove comments that wrongly blame people with anti-genocide principles for the genocide. And your comment got a little too close to that line. So, now you know.

Any “resistance” worth anything needs to begin from an understanding that this administration is unique only in it’s honesty about what it is.

They mean that you talk big about “our work” as activists, all while you’re here spending your time and a not insignificant amount of your energy posting about a non-issue.

Look, I’m going to level with you here under the assumption your heart is in the right place and that you really do do some actual activism. First of all, you’re making this shit about you in a post detailing the mass murder of school children. You (when not posting cringe on lemmy) are really in the streets protesting against the murderous, imperialist, genocidal actions of the United States? Good! Keep it up, though I hope you’re doing so as part of an organization. But it is hard to imagine that you really are when you’re here, thinking it’s important enough to argue the “not all whites men USians!” line.

Even setting aside the fact that directing your indignant energy towards yourself and demanding others do the same, like you are the aggrieved party in a post about the bombing of children in other countries is cringe… Literally no one who says “the US is a terrorist state” is implying that every individual between Mexico, Canada and the Pacific and Atlantic oceans is a terrorist, or that every single one of them condones the terrorism that the US is committing, or even that some of them aren’t actively in opposition to it. What you are arguing about is not relevant. And what’s more, it’s petty and self centered.

      The citizens voted for this.

Then they went back 4 years later and voted for it again, after it promised to this time be worse.

Because the alternative had a “funny laugh” and they are deathly afraid of a .5% of the population super minority existing.

Do you think Harris would have kept us out of Iran?

        Why?

We don’t vote for this, it always IS regardless of voting. According to polls, most voters don’t want us fighting in the middle east or anywhere else. Ever.

She’s not Trump. That’s all that matters.

If she hadn’t bombed Iran, it would be because she was kinder and wiser and more serious. If she had bombed Iran, it would have been for better reasons and with more international support.

But the important thing is that she wouldn’t be Trump.

2/3rds of American voters allowed this to happen.

      1/3rd voted for it.

1/3rd didn’t vote at all, therefore siding with the winner. Apathy and Neutrality aren’t an excuse.

Unless you deliberately did not vote for Trump or anyone in this administration, you are 100% at fault for what is happening. People need to stop sugarcoating it.

There are citizens marching in the streets “trying to stop this” who fucking voted for it, who said “Oh that will never happen”, or “You’re Over-exaggerating”. Now their ignorant asses have woken up to everyone else being right all along, and they shouldn’t be left off the hook.

Every murdered citizen by ICE. Every child bombed in Iran right now. Every trans person who commits suicide over the overarching attacks on them. Every mother who is imprisoned or dies due to a miscarriage because doctors can’t or refuse to give life saving abortions… All that blood is on every citizen who didn’t try and prevent this in November 2024.

Oh please average Americans have been openly calling for this for decades and celebrated when they finally did it. Your crocodile tears fool no one and you’re only protesting now because the current administration was a little mean to white Americans as well, you never gave a shit about what Americans did to anyone else, not now, not ever. Before this was y’all celebrating the “liberation” of Venezuela, Iraq, the Banana Republics, and on and on and on. You brush aside any civilian casualties with a handwavy “well I for one didn’t want that to happen” and then pretend everyone else criticising you on it are the problem, yet you keep cheering on the military strikes for regime changes themselves as if they’re separate isolated things. Even now you’re more concerned with how people criticising Americans need to “be better” for how they phrase their criticisms because it’s apparently a worse crime to hurt your feelings.

      Fuck America and fuck Americans.
