80 years ago they where allies of peace for the parts of Europe it did not take for themselves. Somewhat good for the many, but not all. They were first to free Jewish prisoners. That was very good. They were well on their way and would have won the Pacific if the bombs never fell on Japan.
That is several generations ago. For the last generation they have been working against peace, blaming former subjects from fleeing renewed subjugation.
The last and present is not the same.
