When my parents find out what my mates look like, they become suspicious of them instantly, or dislike them, even if they were fine with them until they saw what they look like.

I’ve asked an AI to make an image based around the aesthetic my mates have since I ain’t posting actual photos of them for their privacy and to be respectful. As you can see they’re completely normal looking so I have no idea what’s triggering them.

    I would listen to what your parents have to say, not because your mates are necessarily good or bad, its usually deeper than just their appearance, but I learned that the hard way, the vast life experience matters, my dad specifically had an almost scary insight when it came to my mates, he could spot any serious character flaw, in a minute, I resisted and got mad, then the years went by and I kid you not, everything he called out was 100% correct, that being said, it’s just their way of giving you a heads up so you can act accordingly.
