      I suspects it’s also about more dealer lock in to authorised repair. Limitation of competition in who can do repair, and also limiting competition in third party parts that can be used (less standardisation).

        All the parts are made or refurbished in China now and get tariffed on the way in and out because of the orange moron.

        Then it takes 3 orders to get brake caliper with intact treads and it’s still gonna seize in 2 years because the tolerances are so bad.
