bluesky doesn’t make any sense; why use another twitter clone?
I have an app that makes groups out of timelines, which can be any number of lists or home feeds etc across Weibo/Twitter/Mastodon/Misskey/BlueSky, combined with whichever RSS feeds you need. So, it’s not extra effort.
Usually it would be extra effort, they seriously don’t even have group chats!? Bunch of Twitter leftoids moved there but good riddance. I followed the scientists and photographers who moved over. All very grandpa mode lawyer brain liberals.
Also before I had this dumb setup I used it since I hadn’t spun up by own Nitter instance yet, I didn’t have Twitter RSS feeds, that’s the one technical advantage the site has. There are all these stupid things about it, like getting marked rude for being antizionist etc, to people maliciously creating lists then blocking the BlueSky mods to get everyone on it blocked. Everything about the lists is just beyond dumb. Can’t even make them privately. I guess they want you to use an RSS reader for that? The mind boggles. Worse than Mastodon, more popular with real Twitter users.

sounds like piefed’s genesis; it originally hardcoded blanket bans for the tankie dominated original instances of the lemmyverse. lol
given the isreali capture of tiktok, especially the willingness to lose billions of dollars to maintain the zionist narrative publicly and couple it the epstein’s efforts to invent reality w 4chan & reddit; i wouldn’t be surprised to learn that the fediverse has it’s own version of maxwell’s “suppression protocols”.

Indeed and I will add that the Piefed thing shows that the vote and reply spam with alts is dissatisfying to them and we can actually just kill them with cardiac arrest.
On the subject of Epstein files for the Fediverse, I actually haven’t looked into figures like Eugene Rotchko & top posters much (can’t imagine I will find nothing bad) yet, I should. We do have advertising material from private intelligence contractors that namedrops Mastodon (no reason Lemmy would be exempt) I will leave this as my last comment until I get back on proper internet to show you what I mean.
My logic is the first person you interact with on the internet tends towards the person with the least life, those who can be online 24/7, and the intelligence contractor or disinfo “researcher” is like the ultimate version of it. I will continue to talk back to The Voices though.
