Today, I got a spam text addressed to my ex. One of those “WE BUY REAL ESTATE FAST!” types with an address I don’t recognize.

    Ouch … Obviously I did not think about it and I struck a nerve there. (Maybe I expected it to be read in the spirit as it was meant) Fine. Take your pick:

    • It probably isn’t. More likely, she is tied to the house, you are still tied to her in some (out-dated) database
    • It probably isn’t. More likely, he is tied to the house, you are still tied to him in some (out-dated) database
