A farmer may want to make sure the law lets him fist his steers or whatever the farmer lingo is, whilst holding a fancy turkey baster with cow batter for the oven, for money. For more cows.

Does his nephew diddle the sheep? I dunno. What happens in Kansas and stays in Kansas affects me a lot less on the day to day than…

The director of the FBI seemingly and very vocally suspiciously trying to make his dog whistle sexy.

These sick fucks would bring back the coliseum if they could, and make sure they bold on the marquee in big bold letters how the show features wild beasts sating their every appetite.

So yeah, I personally count AG carve outs a few rungs beneath the wtf ladder from googly-eye. The horror machine AG exemptions can and do empower as far animal welfare goes non-withstanding.

Because these weird fascist fucks always project their desires that they want to push on the rest of us in advance and this one is just fucking weird.

  • It would be pretty trivial for their backend system to interpret the images server side and build an identification profile for each vehicle. This way, even if you remove your plate, your vehicle can be identified.

    They already are.

That’s what Nightshift/OS whatever the fuck they changed the name to, the law enforcement portal that makes use of the camera feeds and cross references with/across the various law enforcement databases, empowers.

The publication briefly mentioned it obliquely, but the article is about the camera software itself and they’re being remarkably restrained in their reporting. To avoid legal challenges perhaps.

One should never engage in sounding as an escape for the ennui of life.

Once it gets old the only next step is to try to fill the hole in your life by filling all the holes at once. Then when that doesn’t work you gotta work in electrification, macabre-sex circus acts, and hand holding.

    Even more after that.

It never ends, and the slippery slope isn’t your bum like every fella thinks, it’s your pee hole.

    This is a cautionary tale.

  • What you’re looking for was added to core Android since Android 15.

Have you checked in your settings thoroughly?

With specific DND settings and the various notifications options, you can achieve several different levels of “being notified” all under your control.

If on older Android versions than 15, a mix of DND settings set to detect driving and/or a tasker or similar app group to set the notifications for specific apps to go into “snooze” would also achieve the same effects.

There’s also at least one open source project I saw on my brief search that had an app that basically mimics the notification cooldown system but I didn’t linger enough to determine project state.

  • I firmly believe that you can judge a civilization by whether their creation myths, folklore figures, and proto-deities are all on team phallus or team vulva.

Most of the “good” ones by classical to modern standards; team vulva.

I will neither elaborate nor go dig up references because that’s work and then a reader might be denied looking up ancient stone penises and vaginas for an afternoon, and that would be tragic.

Most of it is GPU RAM that those gamers won’t be able to use.

Not yet, and not with that attitude. If a comrade were to facilitate the means of production via alleged seizing there of, a list of how to get them in the hands of the correct furries and/or thigh-high sock aficionados could be sourced relatively easily…

There’s quite a bit of folk itching to get their soldering irons heating and the jank started ahead of the bubble collapse.

  • They’re not compatible, under the current paradigms. You’re not wrong, imo.

But neither is the commenter you’re replying to.

It ain’t going away, and as it is (in every respect from function to marketing to access) ‘AI’ is currently absolutely poisonous for mental development, no matter the age.

But that’s not inherently married to the way it will always be used.

Imo, the ban should be in place all the way in K-12, for no less than 5 years, and some resources devoted to enable school districts to engage the necessary mechanisms to assess how to marry the use of AI technology into educational use, with an actual thorough process in place to assess how and if it can be done in a manner beneficial to educational goals.

It’s not enough to have a techbro declare it the best thing in the world for learning, a child development psychologist declare it the worst thing to exist, and an education expert sitting between them looking anguished.

They need to all be locked in the same room, metaphorically speaking, and honestly arrive at a form that is meaningfully impactful to student outcomes (if one can be found), before it’s something that schools should attempt to use within the curriculum.
