I live in Anchorage, AK. Why do I get Amber Alerts for Barrow. They’re 900 miles away, not on the road system, and if the kidnapper and victim fled by any means other than plane they’re likely dead.

As in the kind of dead where a paleontologist will write a paper about finding a tiny piece of their mangled remains in a pile of fossilized polar bear shit a millennia from now.

Just about every Amber alert I’ve ever gotten has been that kind of utterly useless.

Depends on what shift I’m working. Day shift I’ll shower at night because I don’t have time in the morning. Night shift I’ll shower in the morning.

I definitely prefer showering in the morning, (I also prefer night shift) a good shower just generally feels like a good start to the day. It helps me wake up and gives me time to mentally prepare for the day.
