A great little read! I had no idea there was a term for the gap between people’s anticipation of intelligence, as versus the actual intelligence behind the curtain. Even cooler to see the source of the instigating program, and also get to try it out myself.

This webpage just gives museum vibes in such a good way. Anyone know of any existing communities that collect these kinds of historical education pages? I’d love to have a backlog of pages to visit like this to spend my idle time.

Unequivocally no, but neither were we. I’ve seen signs that both make me proud and concerned, but they’ll pull through.

Vague and foreboding just enough for me to relate to. Emoshitpostingmaxxing

I can second this. I once got 2nd and 4th gear back in my 1993 Saturn LS1 after getting some air time off a decent bump on a country road.

Coincidentally, that same bump is how I lost 2nd and 4th. Life can be tricksy mistress.

This meme would just be a fact if the blur wasn’t present on the corn, and I’m here for it

It’s as if there’s people you don’t know who haven’t been getting the raises you’re talking about while they continue to accept bullshit from their jobs while they slowly become unable to leave their apartment due to both financial and mental issues accruing over years.

I hear your experience as well. I know there’s people who aren’t in that boat. I don’t think that invalidates my position though.

Thanks for link!
