Well I guess Lukas Graham only had the one big album a while back. So good on them too for standing up.
You are right that none of them are as big as Ed Sheeran though.

Why should a Chinese person reduce their emissions, while each American emits so much more?
And now that I know you can’t read…
I have literally said we all do need to cut our emissions
Except one thing is a fact. Americans HAVE been cutting emissions, for 20 years now. US carbon emissions peaked in 2006. Current US emissions are at the lowest level they have been in 38 years.
China is STILL INCREASING emissions.
Or would you suddenly change your mind if China split into 5 countries, all less populous than the US?
China has a centrally planned single party economy. They have one government that makes these choices, and they have been and are consciously choosing to pursue emissions heavy power and manufacturing to secure economic dominance. It’s extremely relevant here.
It’s obvious that the country with more citizens will cause more emissions, and it’s also completely useless!
India has more people and 1/4 the emissions of China. Though they are also increasing.

Lukas Graham is pretty big. And Finneas is Billie Eilish’s brother and producer. He makes a ton of money.
The other two though are absolutely standing on business and taking a hit.

I have literally said we all do need to cut our emissions. Not sure what you’re arguing against here lol.

“Easy” is irrelevant. The climate doesn’t care about which is easier.
The simple fact is that China accounts for 1/3 of total global emissions. If the US went completely carbon neutral today, global emissions would be cut from 38.6 Billion tons to… 33.7 Billion tons.
If China went completely carbon neutral we’d drop from 38.6 Billion tons to 26.3 Billion.
Everyone needs to cut their emissions. China is actively doing the most damage to the climate, however.

I mean, sure. But the atmosphere and climate aren’t going to care about per capita emissions. Total emissions are what matter.

https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/annual-co2-emissions-per-country
The US has been decreasing emissions for 20 years now. While China, as of 2024, was still exponentially increasing emissions.
https://cotap.org/per-capita-carbon-co2-emissions-by-country
Same with per capita emissions. The US has been cutting per capita emissions for 20 years, while China is still increasing.

There’s still a LOT of stuff that goes on in the background. If you’re talking about basic traffic court, you never need a lawyer for that.
You generally do for criminal court, and there is nothing simple about criminal cases, even if you think they are on the surface. In fact, that’s kind of the point. You think you know more than you do, and you end up screwing up the process and causing more problems.

That’s the original US book version. The UK version is white and yellow.

They want us to hire lawyers and to delay things as much as possible to keep the billable hours high.
It’s more that the average person is an idiot and also knows exactly nothing about how court proceedings work. What paperwork to file, what deadlines they need to meet, what processes need to be followed.
Someone representing themselves is the surefire way to turn a simple case into a clusterfuck when they do things wrong. Missing paperwork means you need to now reschedule hearings, which pushes other cases. Missing deadlines means you fuck yourself over nothing, and a judge doesn’t particularly want to do that, so now they have to move things around to try to help you out.
Judges hate self-representation because every idiot thinks they can do it and fuck everything up.

I am confused what that has to do with this at all??

Yeah I’m gonna guess it’s based on whatever service you are using losing distribution rights to it, because the book is available in the US pretty much everywhere.

The book is still Mickey7. The movie they released based on it is Mickey 17.

That really only applies to whole wheat flour. Refined flour lasts basically forever.

He should be punished for the city voting on it???
You’re actually insane lol. Punish the corrupt city council that voted on the deal if you’re going to punish anyone.

He paid for the stadium in Inglewood priavately, entirely without taxpayer funds. It wasn’t built for him. He built it. The deal with the city is that they would reimburse him part of it from tax revenue collected from it.
And the Rams have spent more time in LA than St Louis by a WIDE margin. They were only in St Louis for 20 years. 95-2015. They were in LA before then from 1946-1994.
They were the LA Rams when I was born, and were the LA Rams again before my first son was born lol. And I was only 24 when they moved back to LA. They’ve been back in LA for more than half the time they were in St Louis, total.
St Louis didn’t really give a shit about the Rams until Kroenke wanted to move them. They only voted to approve a new stadium AFTER the move was announced. The Rams started the process to end the lease in 2005 because everyone hated the stadium and attendance was ass. They waived the contingency in the lease for 2005 to give the city a chance to make progress, but they didn’t.
From 2008-2015 they were at the bottom 5 of the league for attendance. They were dead last in attendance the last couple of years. The city only wanted to put in $48 million towards a new parking garage, while the Rams countered with $700m to rebuild a good bit of the stadium because the lease required that they remain in the top quintile of NFL stadiums, and they were about dead last. They went to arbitration where the arbitrators ruled in favor of the Rams, and the city continued to fight it, wanting to be as cheap as possible.
They approved a new stadium weeks after SoFi was announced. The city broke every clause in the lease for years, then acted all surprised pikachu when the Rams said fuck it and left.
So again, what would he be punished for?
This is per seat. And you’ll see similar prices for the Game if both Michigan and OSU are top 5 when it happens, like this game was.

What would Kroenke be punished for exactly?

The internet broke containment a decade ago my friend. The internet is real life now.
Kind of arbitrarily stupid lol.
Other places allow ants as an ingredient, just not South Korea, while they allow other insects to be used as food.
