It always surprises me that so many people confuse HR to be on their side, the employees side. HR has never been nor ever will be on the employees side, they are a tool for the employer. They are on the employers side, and the bosses who are of course also on the employers side.

If you’re looking for who’s looking out for you as an employee, that’d be the union. Get unionized bro.
