10-15 years ago I’d have given an Android-based OS a fair chance, but today… nah.

Checks were definitely written.

Balances were certainly also involved.

Just not the ones you hoped for.

If people aren’t buying it you get no profit.

One of us! One of us! (Us being maybe just you and me though)

Oh my goodness. I have been seeing your posts many times and its not something I have a use for but it looks quite well made.

Why I am commenting, I only realised now that the name is not a weird writing of the Russian word for comrade , which when spoken sounds very similar to your progamms name, but is a German sentence saying “I was there”. Mind blown. Sorry for the off-topic rambling.

Well, you should not!!!

The researchers found preinstalled malware on devices with model names associated with legitimate manufacturers, including the Doogee S200 X and Cubot KINGKONG X, as well as phones impersonating Samsung and Apple products.

In case you were wondering which brands are mentioned here.

Sad read. Sociopaths should really not consider raising kids.

I am sure they collect it. But they do not show it freely. Katharina had to request all the data, what the OP article talks about is just shown without any request.

Dude, there are so many places online you can get free insults from, I mean you are already here so why not post about the Ukraine war on lemmy.ml or mistake Star Trek for Star Wars or something.

Does not look like they do this on German Amazon.

Is it really spying if people are giving out all their info freely? I guess the agent with its cutesy demeanor is kind of pressuring people to do that, which is obviously not ok.

But a different side of this is people just not giving a shit about any of this. And not for the first time. Facebook wouldn’t try this if they didn’t know most people would go for it. Not saying that to justify their actions, but we desperately need people to realise what the outcome of all this is.

I’ll oust myself, I do. I got a small apartment and in the bathroom next to the shower stall is a nice place to put it.

My cat also sometimes drags out stuff other than sand with her fur and I rather want that to be on the bathroom floor than my bed or living room carpet. He’s a fluffy one, so stuff sticks to him.

But I got one of these closed litterboxes with the entry on top, so I really don’t have much litter on the floor.

There was a time when I was excited for any new hardware coming out. That was long ago.

I mean, likely OP does not want to do that and I hate to sound like a damn boomer, but sometimes the offline solutions are the best. I admit I got a recipe book too and still transfer recipes in handwriting to it.

I only really need it at home and its easy to put in front of me when cooking.

Aw lord he’s starin’

But they can go anywhere now

“reportedly”

That implies there was an Elon that is different from the lizard person and that is simply not true. There was only ever lizard person.
