8 days agoI used to do a 12 minute egg with an immediate ice bath. Works well. Egg peels easily. Yolk isn’t overcooked.
Recently switched to the 10-5-5 method. 10 minutes of cook, 5 minutes in the pan but removed from heat, 5 minutes in an ice bath. I’d argue the results are slightly better.
Always soak your eggs before boiling. This forces any air to escape which reduces the likelihood of your eggs cracking once in the hot water.

Yeah, this isn’t going to be a free-for-all. Little Suzy isn’t going to be able to write an essay on any part she chooses. This will just be bringing Sunday school into public schools. Lessons that are happy and further indoctrinate, avoiding any sort of critical thinking.
