Some people think reliefs, Greek revival, Rococo, Baroque, etc. are ugly, polluting to make, more toxic and dangerous to clean, wasteful, and gaudy.

It’s biggest problem was the arguably not so good first season I think.

I thought the 1st season of The Expanse was good, but the 2nd season was so bad that I stopped watching in middle of episode 2. The difference was pretty stark, almost as bad as the difference between the great season 1 of Spooks/MI-5 vs its god-awful season 2.

I’d recommend the first 2 seasons of Okkupert, and Firefly.

Free will is so obviously an illusion to me (since no-one in recorded history has ever been able to magic their way around causality) that I sometimes forget that most people, especially religious people, think they have free will. I should have stated that.

If free will is real for people tho, then God isn’t all-knowing or all-powerful, which means it’s not God - unless you use a definition of God that extremely few people in the West or Middle-East hold.

I would mind: if you’re all-powerful then why create fascists, human traffickers, greedy billionaires, and the majority of people who are making the biosphere uninhabitable for most genera? And why punish them with hell, when you created them that way? That’s just sadistic.

I understand wanting a hell for bad people, because most people do extremely evil things:

• voting to be ruled by openly greedy, sociopathic liars (with only about 1-4% of voters choose ethical candidates);
• giving money to factory farmers and fishermen;
• contributing to human overpopulation;
• etc.;

but I still prefer honesty and saying there’s absolutely no evidence that a biblical hell is real.

Some of them actually believe that if they can get you to say the magic words, you’ll go to heaven instead of hell.

I always disable password management by Firefox, but I noped out of LibreWolf because it doesn’t allow users to block all cookies and then whitelist domains for cookies.

I suspect what a lot of people want is a custom version of Firefox with the garbage surgically removed before compile; where the options still exist for:

• browser-kept payment details,
• blocking cookies,
• whitelisting cookie domains,
• crash reports,
• remote changes between updates,
• scanning everything you download for danger,
• scanning every site you go to for danger,
