Is it possible to hook this up to FF mobile as well?

Exactly my story. Putting stuff into and getting it back out of Linkwarden was way too cumbersome, even with the FF addon installed. I want to just Control + D/B to throw something inside / get something out of my bookmarks. Linmwarden’s preservation of content is nice and all, but I found I rarely if ever needed that functionality.

Floccus is its own standalone app on Android.

Do not threaten me schools with a good time!

If it really is that smart, perhaps it could explain to Sam the difference between a peer reviewed breakthrough and a product launch.
911, I’d like to report a murder.

“Oligopoly company that came late to the party warns of risks of oligopolies (that affect it)”

When companies can effectively buy their way out of the courts, they just consider this the cost of doing business, and will continue to hurt millions of people who do not have the means to sue them.

I know you’re being sarcastic. But for anyone coming here with a damaged irony sensor: no. Setting up a VPN comes at zero software costs (it’s all open source software, unless you’re keen on getting ripped off by some proprietary product) and a reasonably low cost in man hours for setting it up (we’re talking single-digit to low double-digit hours here).

Yeah. And VPN connections exist so maintenance and monitoring can take place without direct exposure. But alas…

It sure did look like that from the layout, but I thought it wise to hold back judgement on the source, given that I only had Firefox’ auto-translation, which can be very rough.

Admittedly, Nexcloud does try to be the everything app, and for several of those things, it naturally loses out to more specialised applications (e.g. photos vs. immich). Contacts and calendars, however, are such a no-brainers (particularly when run through card/calDAV, not the web apps) that I don’t see why I’d set up yet another service just for that.
Feel free to sell Baikal to me a little more, though! ;)

My thoughts exactly. There’s no real article behind that ad.nl link. Then there’s this loosely related link to the GOS mastodon post. And then there’s the broad claim in the title, which, unless OP can provide proper evidence, is entirely made-up bullshit.

It depends what you want from this.
Personally, I prefer the latter because it’s much more powerful. Also, I’ve experienced issues with LocalSend and VPN usage.

Sneaky ad right there!
what would you want from a tool like this to trust it?
I’d need an AI disclosure first and foremost, for this looks vibecoded all the way to hell and back.

Excellent advice!
I’d like to add to the list:
I’d only make the switch once you’ve made sure that

The answer isn’t finding a nicer billionaire. It’s making sure none of them can wield this kind of power.
Well, let’s tell that to the millions of Americans who wanted to “drain the swamp of corruption in Washington” - and sent the billionaire swamp monster to do it.

I want to say “I’m happy to help”, but I’m not, and I haven’t. So let’s just sit here together in silence that is still orders of magnitude less socially awkward than… <gestures> this.

Easily one of the cringest moments in 2025. Video linked for anyone who still needs proof that money can buy a great many things, but coolness and authenticity are not among them.
Amazing! TYSM for the detailed instructions! I’ve got a reverse proxy and a domain in place, so this should be no problem.
