I will belittle anyone that put Donald Trump in office. And if you didn’t vote for Kamala Harris, you helped put Donald Trump in office. I and a lot of people on this platform knew exactly what we were in for with Donald Trump 2.0. But millions of people let perfect be the enemy of the good.

The first 12 episodes or so are well done monster of the week sci fi… Then buckle the fuck up! The world building, performances and storyline represents my favorite sci-fi show of all time

A majority of human interaction is some form of manipulation. I think the question should be what degree the manipulation serves the manipulator versus the mark. For example, my wife compliments me for not looking like a total piece of shit. This both helps diminish tendencies in me she dislikes (helping her) and encourages me to not be a piece of shit, which given that my wife generally looks out for my best interests, helps me as well. From the opposite perspective, gaslighting is a form of manipulation that only benefits the manipulator… Hence why it’s frowned upon.

From an evolutionary biological perspective, rape is seen as a mating strategy. Given the eventual extinction of Neanderthalensis, and the fact that physical attractiveness is also an important factor in modern mating practices of homo S, it makes more sense that the introduction of homo N. genes into homo S. population was less likely caused by sapiens being physically attracted to Neanderthals and more likel introduced through the sexual domination of sapien females by Neanderthal males. If that weren’t the case the physical differences between the two species would have been less pronounced. That’s my theory anyway.
