Take whatever the price of your food is, multiply it by 1.3-1.5 because restaurants have to make up the 30% they pay the company, then add an extra $30 for taxes, fees, and a tip. Food delivery got boiling frog’d like rideshares after market capture and needing to stop subsidizing post-IPO. Funnily enough drivers are making less than they ever have despite all the price increases, funny how that works.
My dentist told me most of the issues with soda at least for dental health can be mitigated by rinsing with water afterwards so that the low ph environment that results in enamel decay doesn’t last long enough to do serious damage

3·5 months agoFunnily enough I’ve literally had that exact scenario happen in the lobby of my apartment building.

I can’t speak for cancer specifically but a lot of research out there isn’t in easily parseable formats for people to sort through using traditional methods, and LLMs have been pretty helpful for adding to evidence of specific effects to be able to pare down the list of millions of compounds out there to a number that’s worth testing in the research I’ve been a part of. I’m about as skeptical as anyone can be of the use of LLMs in the medical field and try to avoid using them whenever possible but one of the only things they’re good for is parsing more text than any human is capable of in short amounts of time which is unfortunately useful for first passes in a lot of the work that goes into therapeutics development
