







This is why they’re pouring hundreds of billions into AI. We don’t even need AGI when you can slowly convince everyone to offload their thinking to an LLM. Then who controls the AI can use it to nudge people in whatever direction.


Please don’t be angry, but your post title could be interpreted as though you’re fed up with guessing on how to make someone (and others) happy. That sort of people that will never be happy and feed off others, thus the codependency mention by the earlier comment.

AFAIK you can only encrypt the connection to the AI and promise to not keep any logs, but the AI needs to ingest readable data. So whomever owns the hardware can see what’s being fed into it. Yeah you can mix instances and chat history and not link the requests to any one person but it will never be completely private.
The lengths Ppl will go to in order to not use a GUI… I haven’t written a git command in a terminal in years.
Learnt how it works, played around with it then used different GUI tools for it.
