My phone keyboard adds so many unwanted periods, sometimes between every word.
I play guitar, watch USMLR and NHL, occasionally brew beer, enjoy live music and travel, and practice sarcasm.

Passive aggressive.
edit: fixed the formatting, and my keyboard unironically took my double-tap on space to add periods for me! 😅

It’s the explicit inclusion of period where ‘normally’ there wouldn’t be one.
But given the larger history of textual communication, full punctuation is normal. Texting isn’t charged per character so it’s not like there’s a benefit to leaving it out.

and my dad replies, “Great.” That looks passive aggressive
What about it makes it look passive aggressive? How would excluding punctuation make it not look passive aggressive?

Don’t think so. Just normal usage. I wasn’t trying to assert that the 3a had some design issue or systemic manufacturing flaw. The port just eventually got kinda loose and any perturbance of the phone or cable would wiggle enough to lose connection.

My Pixel 3a had to be retired when it could no longer “hold” with plugged in cable (and had to be chargeda day).

It’s full of such inflammatory rage bate
But how is that not just a function of the size of the audience there? We see political trolls crawling out here, too, as the number of commenters increases.
When I switched from Tusky to Fedilab it was largely driven by Fedilab’s superior support for multi-level nesting of long comment threads.
