The problem here is people offering a service for sale, when that service is manifestly not fit for purpose and indeed is unsafe to use.

My favourite, show in a screenshot but not mentioned in the text, is an item “Website Developer”, price “$0.00”.

It’s a minor tell, but I’m always alert to people claiming to address global problems who cite calendar time with “summer 2026” and the like, as though the northern hemisphere is the only one that matters. Revealing they actually don’t give any thought to the world outside their local province.
