Apparently not.

LOL.
There’s loads of places where people drive with mirrors tucked in so motorbikes don’t clip them when they drive past while you’re waiting at the lights.
Headphones? Who cares.
She seems… too hot to be turning tricks on the corner.
Couldn’t she make more money sucking less dick on OF or pole dancing or sth?

I think the backup plan was more drugs, which they administered.
I’m not quite sure what backup plan you might be thinking of? Beheading? Strangulation? Shooting?
The mind boggles.
Whatever the plan is, there has to be a point at which the executioners acknowledge that the plan has failed, and after that point the prisoner needs to be made as comfortable as possible.
A headless chicken is not analogous to a person who’s had an intramuscular injection of whatever cocktail.

On some issues the opinions of citizens are important, but in others I think citizens generally aren’t equipped to make a decision.
Another example might be taxes, or how much tax ought to be paid. Loads of people might vote to say they shouldn’t have to pay taxes, but very obviously they’re wrong.
American’s in particular seem ill equipped to separate the fact that someone may well “deserve” to die from the notion that delivering that death is not the best outcome for anyone.

It’s an absurdity, but if you’re going to execute people as humanely as possibly then yeah - if they’re still alive after the attempt you have to provide assistance. What’s the alternative?

Imagine thinking that a super intelligence is going to emerge from reading reddit comments.
Classic conservative move.

Different rates for different payment methods is daft.

Legislators don’t care about people using cash.
Predictable pricing is better for consumers. There’s nothing worse than additional fees at the register. Some countries got this wrong and figuring out how much something is going to cost is a real mess. Like price plus tip plus tax plus payment fee.

Its nothing to do with covid. That’s just the time that tyro popularised the idea.

I think you got this the wrong way around:
The number on the sticker should never be larger than the amount I pay. It’s that simple.

I thought managing my health would be as easy as staying active, exercising, etcetera.
Turns out I lost the generic lottery in a few ways.

Probably. I mis-spoke.

I’ll believe that these things are possible when there’s some empirical evidence that they are.
Why don’t you buy my amazing car. Yes it looks like that car that your nan drives to the shops but actually it can fly and time travel as well.

Exactly, there’s a few specific use cases that the current generative AI is good at. Reading medical imagingand medication development are things I’d add to your list.
However, outside of those specific tasks AI is not particularly useful. An incremental improvement in productivity in some cases.

This might just be the best thing that happens in tech (for me) all year.
I daily drive debian just because boring and reliable. However, fancy package managers like flatpak and appimages and nix have made debian much more vibrant - it’s easy to install new versions of things now.
That said, nix package manager on debian is just freakin amazing. Being able to just nix-shell -p <obscure cli tool> and exit when I’m done with it is magnificent.
That’s the gateway drug anyway. The nix based home-manager is pretty cool.
While I’ve been tempted to jump in with NixOS my experience with nix packages and home-manager has felt kind of bleeding edge or experimental. Loads of things that don’t work as intended on debian.
A sophisticated well funded user base like a federal government has really good implications for the stability of the project in the future. I’m really stoked about this.

Actually the most plausible explanation.

Per capita recessions have been very common in Australia for the last several decades.
I thought labor recently changed the rules regard ing visa hopping which is predicted to get numbers under control?
Everything I have read says that she wanted another method of execution because strapping her to a guerney will trigger a PTSD episode.
