Well, a lot of countries do not have this “18 years is the definitive line” ruleset. Which is made to not criminalize sex between e.g. 19 and 17 years old, which is also kind of ridiculous. OTOH it easily leads to the situation where 40 years and 16 years is also legal (in Germany e.g. when there’s no power dynamic between the parties - so 40 yo teacher and his pupil - nono; “random encounter” legal as long as there’s consent). The most basic solution would be a SSH reverse tunnel to a VPS outside. Have a machine in your network establish that tunnel and set it to reconnect automatically. Now you can SSH into one box of your network. If the router acts up and factory resets (as long as it reestablishes the connection), you can SSH back into your network and reconfigure everything from there.

Not to speak of the fact, that you cannot fill up at home or every other lamp post. You have to drive to designated stations to find gasoline. Ridiculous! What if the next station is too far to reach it, before you run out?

Open Office =/= Libre Office

The latter is a long standing fork of the former and considered the “FLOSS standard office suite”. It has a “modern” ribbon UI, but you have to set it like that, it usually comes with the “old layout” by default.

OnlyOffice is another office suite which brings a ribbon UI by default.

While not open source Softmaker Office mimics Microsoft Office the closest (and claims the best available MS file format compatibility, but I cannot say anything about that).

I sometimes look down on my own hobby: geocaching. It’s fun, gives a reason for doing hikes, leads you to interesting places, a lot of caches are awesome and creative. But somehow a lot of other cachers weird me out. If I meet others, I catch myself thinking more often than not “oh no, I enjoy the same hobby as those people? How uncool have I become?” 😂
