The community can’t be found through Lemmy.ml:

All this screeching about how the piefed Dev is opinionated and at the same time they block whole communities on instance level without telling their users about it? Checks out…
When I joined Lemmy, Lemmy.ml didn’t really feel different than Lemmy.world to me.
Maybe I’m taking crazy pills but it’s like they got more propagandist on purpose. As if they decided to up the anthem because .grad got defederated by all sane instances… And what’s propaganda good for if it doesn’t reach the right people?
Same with tankies having lemmy.world accounts. It’s not ironic, it makes sense.
Now Lemmy.ml became their “outreach” instance, where they ban everyone who criticizes them (even on another instance) or even for downvoting (Dessalines did that because his favorite poster ‘cowbee’ got downvoted by “bots” too much. Then they opted out on lemvotes, so no more checking yourself).
For an outsider it looks like everyone agrees with them because they upvote each other and every critic got either banned or they blocked them themselves and I’m starting to think this might be by design. I wonder how many users are banned from .ml, while still retaining general visibility through federation.
Isn’t it basically how Russia and China operate? Keep your own people isolated in a bubble where only your narrative is accepted and at the same time invade other spaces to manipulate their opinions?

The post was basically:
feddit.org is a Nazi/Zionist-Bar, let’s vote if dbzer0 should block the community xyz (it was not a vote about defederation). And the “voting” was done by upvoting/downvoting the post, not through comments. Funnily enough the top comments were complaints against the situation and when this was pointed out it was put aside as “only upvoted because of feddit.org Trolls”. I actually counted and while there were upvotes from feddit.org, the upvote/downvote ratio from only dbzer0-users was 2:1.
Then they said if enough people want to defederate they will put that in consideration. After multiple comments calling for that they decided on it without an extra vote.
It’s like putting an ad on TV with a heavy bias and asking people to press a button on a remote. My idea was that anarchists are supposed to inform themselves about topics that get voted on but I’m pretty sure a lot of them just went with the flow.
Tell the family there is nothing to worry about since you’re only considering him as your second husband.

And here I thought that, if anyone knew, it would be you!
