Now I’m debating whether Republican politicians are as dumb as their followers…
Though there is plenty of evidence they dissolved bodies as well as dumped them as medical waste from a hospital into the ocean.

Or Putin says they will nuke any country that nukes Iran and he wins a nobel peace prize for it. Joking about the last half…

I hear they don’t let trans people in. Could try that

Still slows you down and makes an easier target for a $50k drone of which they make 500 a day.

My advice is to stick to making specific observations as not to sound hyperbolic.
Yet at the same time what is needed is a counter-narrative to “AI can do the job”. My observation is the industry cycles between agile and waterfall development and people (who are the loudest) are using AI to do waterfall development. This is a bad idea for the same reasons waterfall development is bad: trying to write a spec that covers all situations is counterproductive.
The alternative I see is that we borrow from Agile and treat AI as a pair developer that you outsource small (or largely repetitive) tasks to. This is not vibe coding nor is it TDD as you are still actively developing all levels of the code, but your feedback loop (OODA) is kept short.

Opiate addict I talked to said your body was never meant to feel that good. That stuff wrecked my brother (a different addict).

Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit discounted hardware
I bet those billionaires could make the system more efficient if they were properly motivated.
Sure, and that’s why I don’t bother telling people their voting tactics are wrong.
I don’t think that’s the criticism, rather we fixing the problem at the wrong end of things. We can’t fix society by stressing personal responsibility, we need a different tactic.
You both are right but one is more consequential. Let’s dive in:
Bombing Iran does not have bipartisan support, many Dems are voicing their opposition. The Dems even advanced a bill where the president would need congressional review to specifically bomb Iran in this instance.
The President making unilateral military decisions like bombing Iran does have bipartisan support. The Dems have not challenged it’s constitutionality or proposed significant changes on this front and instead go for a case by case congressional veto. This policy also aides in our genocidal program of Gaza…

Thx Chuck Schumer!

Nah, just think people who are ignorant of their own laws should think more before they make their ignorance more widely known.

International law is what the CCP claims gives them the right. So no, I am not implying, I am stating it is relevant. Even if you disagree with the law, how do you expect this to be resolved peacefully without international law?

Let me guess, you don’t think they have a legal claim to the island under UN law?

I mean wasn’t it largely peaceful in the past? From China’s perspective they only need to act if Taiwan or other countries make public statements challenging their legal claim to the island, it is better for China to wait as the power dynamics are shifting in their favor. It is only the west that wants to force this issue to come to head now, while they still have a comparative advantage - but even now if China wants Taiwan there is little we can do keep that from happening (though the humanitarian cost would be staggering and likely hurt their standing internationally).
Edit: I also don’t see why mainland would suddenly pivot on the issue, there’s seems very little reason to expect them to change course.
You think Xi has absolute power? Not even Mao had absolute power.
