You said there’s yellow, there is absolutely none in the image, can you provide an image so we can see what you think you see? Funny you resort to insults instead of providing an image to show what you’re taking about.
The materials for the sidewalk and road are identical, not even close to yellow, I provided an image as proof and to show you what I see.

I wouldn’t necessarily call it “yellow;” more like a beige/tan for the walkway vs. gray for the parking lot. At any rate, it’s enough to be clear (to me, at least) that it was intended to be a contrasting color.
Here’s what I ended up with when I used GIMP’s eyedropper tool on the two areas:
It turns out it’s in Poland, where I’m from. I’m used to seeing these types of sidewalks and know that they are yellow when new. This one is just faded.
This is a different color. It’s a completely different brick.
The other photo also had different color brick for the walk path compared to the road. You may genuinely be color blind, friend.
The fact that the sidewalk’s pavers are rotated 90° compared to those in both the parking lot aisle and (more importantly) the parking space to the right is also enough to prove the designer’s intent, even disregarding the color difference entirely.
I totally agree that said designer shouldn’t have let aesthetics come at the cost of accessibility, though.
It is a very slightly different color, but definitely hard to make out in the original image due to the line of shade coinciding with the colour shift + being from further away. Definitely wouldn’t blame a small-screen user for not noticing a difference between those two.
You can see from the left part where it meets the road it’s the exact same color of the road.

That’s not yellow, and the road already has multiple shades already. That’s not a different colour, just a different shade.

That’s a similar brick, but it’s clearly a different color and elevated. You might genuinely be color blind if you can’t see it.
I have normal color vision and I asked think they are pretty similar, but distinct colors. Maybe it’s more clearly different in person.
Dear internet person, I think you may suffer from some form of color blindness.
Paste the exact image you shared into MS paint or any image editor and extract color codes from the two parts.
