My feeling toward Lemmy are mixed. I really miss certain non-political subs, like guitar subs, and animal subs. OTOH, the political forums are much livelier on Lemmy, and you don’t have to worry nearly as much about suspensions and bans.
And Reddit was getting flooded with stupid bots, puns, novelty accounts, spam, and Russian Karma Farmers. It would get particularly bad during election years. I bet it’s a mess over there right now, and it’s only going to get worse.
