      For someone living in france, what’s french oignons where you live 😋? Just french or is it some specific type?

        It’s a cut, not a cultivar, that’s probably better known as Julienne cut. Sausage sellers often have sliced onions as one of the toppings for their sausages and it’s never not delicious.

        The awkward wording was to match the image.

          If you do that, finely, it makes for the best ever fried onions (salt them and be generous with the olive oil and almost burn them for a while. Like 5 min or more ).
