I’m on my way there but after 25 years of bathing my brain in substances it’s not easy.
I used to drink nothing but strong coffee and energy drinks and smoke cigarettes all day, then finish the day off with weed and half a gallon of beer.
I’m now down to 1 cup of coffee in the morning and 2-3 nicotine gums per day. I’ve quit alcohol. So I’m at a point where I’m not slowly killing myself anymore. I tried to go zero substances recently but that killed all my productivity at work. I’ll have another go at it next time I’m on vacation.
