Going the other way I admire Unitarian Universalists for their inclusivity and acceptance of everyone and I like how the Ba’hai forbid proselytizing.

Catholicism, look at their history. Hitler took inspiration from the churche’s inquisition for example. That’s just the tip of the iceberg.

I’m extraordinarily familiar, every major religion has a history soaked in blood and human rights abuses. Catholicism is just the safest one to call out, which is my only point.

So we will push under the rug the murders of those burned at the stake? Those hanged, those raped? And the land and riches stole by the arguably oldest operating organization in the world? How abut all the deaths caused by being deemed outlaw?

How about all the suffering the church has caused by persecuting gay people, or trans people?

And sure, there is some good work done like charities, but it doesn’t rinse the blood from the hands.

My only criticism of Catholics is that I question their ethics due to the evil and dare I say demonic acts, that they associate themselves with.

How about all the Christians murdered by the church because they did things differently?

The Bogomils and Cathars didn’t murder people. They were wiped out though, by the church.

kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out!

The one that believes three wise men followed a star rising in the East on December 25th, signifying the birth of a messiah, the son of God, born from immaculate conception, who traveled the world, feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and performed miracles, like walking on water and helping the blind see again, who was executed, then resurrected three days later.

Now, here’s the fun part: many of you are probably thinking I’m obviously referring to the Christian messiah, Jesus Christ, but the fact is, this description is accurate to dozens, if not hundreds, of gods and deities throughout recorded history.
