I’m currently on Season 4 of my TNG re-watch. The episode tonight is going to be a very bittersweet viewing. RIP, Mr. Stewart, you will very much be missed
What episode is tonight?
Episode 2, Family. I’m fully expecting to get a little teary eyed watching it
Family is such a great episode. Such a departure from the razzmatazz of BOBW. A moment to sit and reflect on what Picard went through. I love the symbolism of him falling back to earth. Plus we get a lil peek into Worfs backstory, and we get to watch Will Wheaton completely phone it in (still love it, he was a teen and had other things on his mind, no hate).
As a kid I really didn’t like that episode, but now it’s in my top 5 TNG EPS for sure. Patrick Stewart’s performance is just top notch, as it always is. We lost a legend.
Almost cried just reading which episode.
