I wonder what all those “retired” moral, knowledgeable, competent, experienced officers are doing? Are they just sipping margaritas on the veranda, not worried about the fate of the nation they carefully protected for decades? Or are they in touch with each other?

I wouldn’t know, I haven’t heard a thing. Nothing. Nada. It’s almost like NOBODY is talking about that 800 pound gorilla in the room.
