Trinary is a perfectly acceptable name for it. Even redirects to the same page on everyone’s favourite source of extremely reliable information. :)
And people who know that every base is base 10.

Personally, I use the base 💩 numbering system.That’s why we should always communicate in Roman numerals just in case.
