New thing bad, old thing good.
A lot of old things are really good, but there are so many new things that the really good ones are easier to miss. Then dudes make comics about new things being bad. So it goes.
I’ve been enjoying the “new retro” stuff that’s been a trend over the last few years.
UFO 50 is phenomenal, Grimstone is a great combination of old school RPG & new school mechanics.
More recently, Tombwater is Wild West Zelda with Eldritch Horrors and I’m getting more & more invested in the story.
