Unironically, that’s one of the biggest upsides of being invited to non-mixed decoloniality events (for academic reasons), they tend to bring the best food and love to share it 😀

I’ve heard that Colombians generally under-season and over-meat, but they’re terrifically friendly. Does that describe your experiences?
They season just fine, but yes, they do eat a lot of meat, which is not my style.
