    I agree, but at the same time, would we have the alt-right if it weren’t for spaces like 4chan and /r/theDonald that allowed them to build a sense of community and identity. This is better than jerking on Reddit in a sea of bots and “moderates”

      Yes. Community is good. I totally agree. The difference is conservatives vote. Lefties are actively non participants in the “duopoly”. But there is no alternative path discussed either. That would require facing the real world

        Yes, though Mamdani winning does give me some hope. Yea, NYC is very liberal, but it is also the holy land for international capital.

          I think the party is going to evolve despite the apathy of online lefties. Fingers crossed. Boomers have to die at some point.

          It’s interesting watching the lefties already turning on Mamdani (we’re not even a year into his first term)
