    What do you mean “on root”? Android doesn’t force updates, last time I checked.

      It definitely pushes them hard, and I’ll be damned if rolling over my phone at night is going to trigger and update again. In case you didn’t know, on root you can do a variety of things you can’t without it. for example, back in the day the method was to freeze the updater service with titanium backup tool. This completely and utterly nuked any chance of the phone being updated, manually or accidentally.
