    Great article, absolutely blows my mind that people really live like this. I just visited Edinburgh where I walked over 10km every day. The american mind can’t comprehend this.

      I’m an American and walk 10km almost every day here in Chicago. The American mind definitely comprehends this.

        I’m an American in the deep South. Most of our roads don’t have sidewalks. Unless I make an effort, and walk in the road, I could easily have under 2000 steps a day. 😐

          I’d rather use metric units than die but they aren’t all that. Ten fingers is an accident of biology and basing our units on that number is insane.
