I was leaving a comment but it wouldn’t upload. Checked the post and it’s gone. Checked the person’s profile and it’s gone too.
It was bad taste.
Post got deleted for one reason or another usually. Maybe it broke the rules or had information the op didnt want others to know.
Can always check the mod logs for the com.
The post committed self deletion out of shear disgust.
Right?! That breakfast sounded less appetizing than just eating canned cat food.
Maybe we should let communities/instances have their own deletion policy if this continues to become a problem? Im seeing this a LOT with very new accounts. It looks somewhat coordinated .
OP nuked their account:
lemmy=# select id, actor_id, banned, deleted from person where name='happyhouseslave'; id | actor_id | banned | deleted ----------+---------------------------------------+--------+--------- 12117366 | https://lemmy.world/u/happyhouseslave | f | t (1 row) lemmy=# select name, deleted, removed from post where creator_id=12117366; name | deleted | removed -----------------------+---------+--------- *Permanently Deleted* | t | f *Permanently Deleted* | t | fWhoa how did you do this?
I queried my instance’s database. Admin privilege. The info here isn’t any kind of protected information so I can share.
Thats a cool feature, thanks for the information!
