My iPhone tells me that every night I plug it in. It actually says “slow charger.” It’s fine because it’s still charged in the morning. Jury’s still out, last I heard, on whether fast charging every day hurts a battery or not. I’m inclined toward not, but I think the extra heat isn’t good for it. Still, EVs fast charge, and you want to carry those for like a decade or more, so it can’t be that bad. But I’m not that technical on batteries.
I had the 9600mAh or whatever it was ZeroLemon battery for the Galaxy S3, and I was using a 2A charger with it. It wouldn’t fully charge overnight. Back then we didn’t have all the fast charging technologies, though. These days, I don’t doubt you. I have a 10,000mAh power bank and it does charge pretty quickly.
My 10,000 mAh battery bank charges in like an hour. Your phone should easily charge in less than 2 hours. Your wall wart is under powered.
They set a charge limiter on their phone to stop charging at 90%. Its not at 90% because the charger is slow.
