I don’t think many reasonable people would hear a person’s attorney make such a statement, especially after a guilty verdict on such a horrible charge, and wouldn’t recognize it as the lawyer just saying what a lawyer should be saying… he’s not trying to persuade anyone other than his client in continuing to fight - because keeping the case going results in more money.

Not many lawyers get into the profession because they want to be decent humans… their job involves people paying them money to be on their side so obviously a defense attorney’s values are motivated very heavily by money.

But that’s a lawyer’s job. Rule number 1 is you never admit guilt… the prosecutor’s job is to prove your guilt, and you never make it easy for them to do so.

Because real Punk fans wouldn’t be able to accept that a show had been cancelled in protest. Although, at this point are any real punk fans going to be at this show?

I passed a police car on the interstate a few weeks ago in Kentucky that had its windshield smashed out by snow/ice flying off the top of a semi. The amount of damage was impressive and scary.

The only thing the FDA needs to hear is that this will make a lot of money for the shareholders.

I received an email from Ticketmaster when tickets for how local show went on sale, and I was just curious how well they were selling, so I logged in. There were still plenty left, but they were selling much better than I was expecting… but then I noticed the prices. $60 for lawn and $200-$500 for pavilion seating. But then I noticed the front 2 rows, $4k-$5k… and they were almost all sold out.

This has to be a money laundering scheme, right? No one is actually paying that to see Kid Rock, right?

Horrible for all involved.
