It’s an excessively involved process at the moment, this individual managed it by using a common malware method, he imitated a legitimate OTA update but rewrote it to root the system. Per the Cybertruck warranty:

… The environment or an act of God, including, but not limited to, exposure to sunlight, airborne chemicals, tree sap, animal or insect droppings, … water, contamination, lightning and other environmental conditions"

So, if you get all bricked up in the car wash, you’re now the proud owner of a $100,000 rust brick.

They seem to like blurring those lines. As though the agents being in danger is part of the goal.

Makes you wonder, what government wants the spark to ignite the powder keg? That would be like packing the Reichstag with flammable stuff and telling a local arsonist about it – OH.

Any Cadillac for Sentry Mode (it’s called Surround Vision Recorder, and unlike Tesla, it’s not constantly narcing on you, it’s locally stored). I’m sure others have equivalents, that’s just the one I know off the top of my head.

Any… car… for keyless entry. That’s literally more common than using a key in a new vehicle.

Edit: Aren’t you a mod on the SpaceX board? I’m not sure I trust you when you say you’re “not a fan of Tesla or Musk” considering you run a fan club for one of Musk’s companies XD

I’m the automotive equivalent of a muckraker, so yeah, Tesla does enough weird stuff that I talk about them a lot. They’re hardly the ONLY news I cover.

Believe what you like, but the videos in that article are just videos, it’s not like those aren’t first-hand driving footage just because you dislike where you found them.
