Well… There would also have to be water to actually collect from the air. Thunderfoot made a really good video about these dehumidifiers when yet another one popped up on Kickstarter claiming to end water shortages.

It really is. I’ve seen at least a handful of these on Kickstarter before, and before Kickstarter was a thing I’m pretty sure I saw something about “revolutionary new technology” like this in a TV documentary.

Here in Denmark I can basically just jump in front of a moving car on a crosswalk (one without traffic lights) and if the car so much as touches me they risk losing their driver’s licence.

I know The Netherlands is the same like that. Not sure about other EU countries.

I question whether that fear is based on something real or just the idea that it would happen. That same idea that makes the law harsher against men committing crimes than women.

America needs better unions. Or just… unions.

We don’t know the actual statistics of what percentage of violent crimes and sexual assaults are committed by women. A lot of woman on man crime (domestic abuse, sexual assault) largely goes unreported when it happens, and hardly ever gets taken seriously when it does.

So long as that is still an issue, that there exists some idea that only men do these things, or mostly do these things, or even get falsely accused of doing these things while being a victim, the statistics cannot be trusted.

Well, there is one duo of books that are banned here in Denmark. My friend’s wife is reading them and I had the same reaction as you when I heard it was banned.
